Calling All Middle School Students: Compete in the National Civics Bee! The Stillwater Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Oklahoma State Chamber and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, is excited to host the National Civics Bee, a competition designed to inspire young Americans to engage in civics and make a difference in their communities.

Modeled after traditional spelling and geography bees, this nonpartisan competition gives 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students the opportunity to showcase their civics knowledge, share their ideas for community improvement, and compete for recognition and cash prizes. Local winners will advance to the Oklahoma State Finals, where they will compete for a $1,000 grand prize and a trip to Washington, D.C., for the National Civics Bee Championship in Fall 2025.
