Enjoy a relaxed, family-friendly day at the lake during Oklahoma’s official Free Fishing Days, designated statewide by the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation. On June 6–7, fishing is free, meaning no Oklahoma fishing license is required on these two dates. Families, kids, and first-time anglers are invited to cast a line at the Trout Pond or anywhere along the shoreline and enjoy a simple day outdoors. In collaboration with the Cowboy Corner convenience store, guests can also enjoy special event-day discounts on select food, beverages, and snow cones — a sweet little bonus while you’re out making lake memories!
