The Municipal Electric Systems of Oklahoma, Inc (MESO) exists to serve municipal professionals. MESO provides numerous skills training and professional development programs. The  mission is to enhance members’ value to their customers through industry best-practice programs, training, and services. The annual Lineworkers Rodeo attracts attendees from municipalities across Oklahoma and the region. This event is unique because it includes important safety training to enhance the event. In addition to rodeo competitors, MESO draw leaders
from many locally owned, municipal utilities.

MESO Lineworkers Rodeo will take place on September 19th and gives public power professionals a chance to compete and use their skills! The goal of the MESO Lineworkers Rodeo at Boomer Lake Park is to promote safe and effective system maintenance and operation skills in an environment of healthy competition.  The MESO Lineworkers Rodeo will be outside, bring lawn chairs, water, and sunscreen! Registration will be at 7:00 AM, and Opening Ceremony will take place at 8 AM. Registration ends September 8th, 2024.

Boomer Lake (Lakeview Road & N Boomer Road)

Exhibitors have the option to set up a display at the Competition Grounds at Boomer
Lake (Lakeview Road & N Boomer Road). NOTE: There will be no security at the site and
tables for that day must be requested in advance.
