Missoula Children's Theatre Performance: Sleeping Beauty

Overview

The Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) is the nation’s largest touring children’s theatre.  A tour team will arrive in Stillwater loaded with a set, lights, costumes, props, and make-up. They’ll have everything it takes to put on a play – except the cast. The team will hold an open audition and cast 50-60 local students to perform in the production. The show is rehearsed throughout the week and two public performances will be presented at the end of the week.

All MCT shows are original adaptations of classic children’s stories and fairytales, with a twist on the classic stories that you know and love. Creativity, social skills, goal achievement, communication skills, and self-esteem are all characteristics that are attained through participation in this unique, educational project. MCT’s mission is the development of life skills in children through participation in the performing arts.

Open to all students entering 1st through 12th grades in the fall, and there is no cost to participate. Pre-registration is required. For more information, send an email to MCTStillwater@gmail.com or contact the Stillwater Community Center
