Overview

Teens (grades 6-12) are invited to join the OSU Museum of Art and the Prairie Arts Center for mini canvas painting! (Program starts at OSUMOA, then teens walk to Prairie Arts for painting.)

Teens will paint their own unique adventure as educators from the Art Museum, Library, and Prairie Arts Center provide a framework for creating beautiful paintings to be displayed in exhibitions. Teens will strengthen their literary skills and connect with different cultures, ideas, and contexts while practicing their painting skills! Following the program, the mini canvases will be displayed at all three locations for a limited time before teens bring their creations home!

This program is a part of the Stillwater Public Library's summer reading program, "Adventure Begins at Your Library," which runs June 1 through July 27. Visit stillwaterok.gov/LibrarySummer to register for summer reading, track reading time, earn prizes, and discover more awesome events!
