The AXTON family Musical Legacy started in the summer of 1956 when Matt's grandmother, Mae Boren Axton, a full-time English teacher and part-time public relations maven, met a young man named Elvis Presley. She promised to write him a “hit” song and a short time later that came true, co-penning Elvis’ first million selling chart-topping hit, "Heartbreak Hotel." Matt will bring his talents to Stonecloud Stillwater and carry on the family tradition. We hope to see you here.
