Overview

Math Adventures Camp will take place July 27–30 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Mathematical Sciences Building on the campus of Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. Hosted by the Department of Mathematics, this four-day camp is designed for students entering grades 6–10 in Fall 2026 who enjoy exploring challenging mathematical ideas and strengthening problem-solving skills.

Participants will be divided into two groups: a junior group (grades 6–7) and a senior group (grades 8–10), each capped at 20 students and led by faculty from the Department of Mathematics or Statistics with support from teaching assistants. Camp activities include interactive math classes in algebra, geometry, and probability, guest lectures from faculty and visiting mathematicians, hands-on applications of math in real-world contexts, and team-based math competitions that encourage collaboration and creative thinking.

Lunch is provided each day and includes pizza and water, along with a camp T-shirt for all participants. Students with dietary restrictions are encouraged to bring their own lunch. The cost is $240, and registration closes July 15, 2026.
