Masquerade at the Museum

Overview

Join the Stillwater Public Library and OSU Museum of Art for an evening of extravagance in “Masquerade at the Museum.” Teens in grades 5-12 can make carnival or Mardi Gras masks and tour the Ralph Steadman collection at the museum. There will also be opportunities to take photos, play mini-games, and experience the wonder of a masquerade. Teens who tour the museum will learn about Steadman's characters and create masks that explore concepts of identity, character development, and Steadman's art-making techniques.

Registration isn’t required to attend “Masquerade at the Museum,” but it does help the library and art museum know how many teens to expect. This program will take place at the OSU Museum of Art, 720 S. Husband St., on Friday, February 28, from 5:30-7:30 PM.
