Overview
The Center for Research on Teaching and Learning (CRSTL) presents the Launch Pad STEM Camp for students in grades 3–7, running June 1–5, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM daily at Willard Hall, Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK. This hands-on camp introduces campers to the exciting world of aviation and aerospace through interactive STEM challenges and real-world exploration activities. Students will use science, engineering, and imagination to learn how planes and drones fly, build and test gliders, explore the basics of rocketry, and discover what it takes to put a person in space. From paper airplanes to high-tech drones and water rockets, this camp serves as a launchpad into the fascinating world of aviation and aerospace. The cost is $120 per camper and includes a camp t-shirt and a daily snack. Registration closes May 15, 2026, and refunds are available if cancelled before that date (email nina.weaver@okstate.edu). For questions, contact Nina Weaver at 405-744-8879 or nina.weaver@okstate.edu, or Jennifer Cribbs at 405-744-7125 or jennifer.cribbs@okstate.edu.
