Overview

The Boone Pickens School of Geology is offering a Lake Research and Science (LakeRS) experience camp July 30 to August 1, 2024. This resident camp will take place on the OSU campus and at Lake Carl Blackwell and is for high school students interested in aquatic research. Campers will be provided with food and lodging on campus as well as transportation to field sites all free of charge. Activities will focus on lake research and include 1) collecting sediment samples using sampling equipment 2) learning how to prepare and process these samples, and 3) analyzing the retrieved samples using state-of-the-art equipment and instruments in OSU laboratories. Dropoff Location: Noble Research Center (OSU Stillwater Campus).
