Formal Fantasy Adult Sewing Classes

Formal Fantasy Adult Beginner Sewing Class will be held each Tuesday evening from 7-8:30pm. Class 1 runs Sept. 8-Oct. 6. Class 2 runs Oct. 20- Nov. 17.

Location is Formal Fantasy, 121 E 9th Ave, Downtown Stillwater There is a maximum of 5 students per class. This class is designed for students ages 16 and up.

Cost is $125 per person. All equipment and most materials will be provided. This is an experience based class, meaning you will learn to sew by making an actual project that you take home at the end of the week. The project is a zippered tote bag with two pockets- view D on the picture.

You will learn to sew on a Singer Heavy Duty 44S machine.

Day 1 is learning about the machine and how to run it competently.

Day 2 you will learn how to properly cut out a sewing pattern and apply interfacing and interlining.

Day 3 is all about pockets! You will install an exterior and an interior patch pocket in your bag.

Day 4 you will add straps and a zipper to your bag.

Day 5 you will put everything together and admire your creation!

To sign up, call (405)780-7720. Full payment is required to enroll in the beginning sewing class. Minimum class size is 3 people. If not enough people sign up by 7 days before the first day of class, the class will be cancelled and full refunds issued. Refund policy: If you sign up and change your mind or have a conflict, refunds will be issued up to (7) days before the class starts. Less than 7 days before the start of the class no refund will be issued.
