Overview

Oklahoma State University’s Nursing Program is hosting Cowboys Care and Cure, a summer camp in Stillwater for high school students in grades 10–12, providing an immersive introduction to the nursing profession through hands-on activities, skills labs, and simulations. This two-day program, held June 3–4, 2026, includes an overnight stay in an OSU residence hall and gives students a realistic preview of nursing education and career opportunities. Sponsored by Blue Cross and Blue Shield’s Blue Impact grant, the camp is completely free for participants and includes activities, meals, snacks, supplies, and a camp t-shirt. The registration deadline is May 1, 2026, and cancellations must be received by May 18, 2026 via email to osunursing@okstate.edu. The camp will take place at Scott Parker Wentz Hall, Oklahoma State University.
