Cowboy Leadership & Education Camp will provide a place of support and networking, including opportunities to grow as future leaders in education. The camp is designed to offer students in 8th - 12th grades a variety of experiences and group activities that will teach them how to motivate others’ learning, strengthen their voice, increase their presentation skills, and build problem-solving skills to inspire and lead others.

Some activities include designing activities to do with children ages 4-6 at the OSU Child Development Laboratory, writing lesson plans, learning about curriculum and instruction, and reflecting on the effectiveness of teaching and how teachers can make adjustments to engage students and promote learning. Snacks will be provided each day. In addition, participants will receive a t-shirt.
