Cool Classics Summer Concert Series: Erin Yeaman and Cynthia Cortright

Overview

Erin Yeaman & Cynthia Cortright kick off this year’s Cool Classics Concert Series at the Stillwater History Museum at the Sheerar on Friday, July 8, at 7:30 pm. Committed to bringing classical music to all parts of her community, Erin Yeaman, an award-winning classical cellist, can be heard performing in concert and recital halls, museums, schools, libraries, cafes, pubs, and more. She is an active soloist, chamber musician, freelance orchestra musician, music outreach advocate, fundraiser, and teacher. A native of Oklahoma, Erin won several competitions as a young cellist including the Buttram, Donna Turner Smith Cello Competition, the University of Oklahoma concerto competition, Women’s Music Club, and Channing Chamber Music Competition. This concert is made possible with the assistance of the Oklahoma Arts Council.

$5 suggested donation at the door. Reception sponsored by the Payne County Historical Society. CONCERTS BEGIN AT 7:30 PM., last approximately an hour, and are followed by a reception. Seating is first-come-first-served. Sheerar Auditorium seating
