Classic Cinema at the Stillwater Community Center


The Friends of the Stillwater Community Center and the Stillwater Community Center Foundation invite you to attend the monthly movie series “Classic Cinema at the Center” in the Winfrey D. Houston Theater at the Stillwater Community Center! Doors will open at 6 pm. Showtime is at 7pm with snacks and water provided!

This month's feature is Penny Serenade! 1941 Melodrama  A heart-warming, bittersweet depiction of family life for the holiday season We follow Roger and Julie Adams from their chance meeting and whirlwind romance through the early years of marriage and parenthood. Cary Grand displays a surprising range of emotions while Irene Dunne balances this story of a loving couple who must overcome adversity to salvage their marriage and raise a child.

Directed by Goerge Stevens, written by Martha Cheavens and Morrie Ryskind and starring Irene Dunne, Cary Grant, Beulah Bondi and Edgar Buchanan.

Admission is free, however donations are accepted.
