Classic Cinema at the Stillwater Community Center

Overview

The Friends of the Stillwater Community Center and the Stillwater Community Center Foundation invite you to attend the monthly movie series “Classic Cinema at the Center” in the Winfrey D. Houston Theater at the Stillwater Community Center! Doors will open at 6 pm. Showtime is at 7pm with snacks and water provided!


This month's feature is The Last Time I saw Paris!  Charles Wills returns to Paris reminiscing about his life as a Stars and Stripes journalist after the World War II liberation. He meets two sisters, Helen and Marion, and their father, James Ellswirth, who has settled in Paris after WWI. After marrying Helen, Charles stays in Paris after his discharge and works for a news agency. As time passes, his ambition to write a great novel separates him from Helen and his daughter.


Future planned dates for the series include: May 10, June 7, July 12, Aug. 9, and Sept. 13. Admission is free, however donations are accepted.
