Classic Cinema presents the Rodgers and Hammerstein Musical, State Fair at 7 pm next Friday evening, July 10 at the Community Center. Celebrate Summer with this All-American family who are off to the Iowa State Fair.  This 1945 movie introduces such popular songs by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II as "It's a Grand Night for Singing" and "It Might as Well Be Spring", which won the Academy Award for Best Original Song. Starring Jeanne Crain and Dana Andrews with Dick Haymes, Percy Kilbride, Charles Winninger and Fay Bainter.  As always, Admission and Refreshments (popcorn, chocolate candy and beverage are free.
