Conversation with Blackout author John Rocco (Limited to 750 - Registration required) - Meet virtually with NYT bestselling author and illustrator John Rocco as he discusses his Caldecott Honor book, and our Little Read selection, "Blackout." Rocco will discuss his writing and illustrating process, his inspiration for "Blackout," and answer readers' questions. Registration opens September 15th.



"NEA Big Read: Stillwater" is the Stillwater Public Library's tenth community-wide reading series. Survival and resilience will be explored through the books "Station Eleven" by Emily St. John Mandel and the "NEA Little Read" title "Blackout" by John Rocco. The program runs from October 2nd to November 11th. NEA Big Read is a program of the national Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest.
