Animatronic Abraham Lincoln display at The National Wrestling Hall of Fame
The animatronic is on loan from the Oklahoma Territorial Plaza in Perkins, Oklahoma, which has generously agreed to allow the Hall of Fame to display it until June 6.
“Abraham Lincoln is one of the 14 American Presidents who wrestled and with his birthday being in February it seemed like the perfect time to share this unique version of our 16th President,” said Lee Roy Smith, Executive Director of the Hall of Fame. “We are grateful to the Oklahoma Territorial Plaza for allowing us to share such an exhibit that is not only entertaining but also educational.”
America’s shrine to the sport of wrestling, the National Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum, is a focal point for preserving the heritage of the sport, celebrating new achievements, and encouraging the youth of our land to aspire to lofty goals.
Open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
We have special hours on days that Oklahoma State has a home wrestling match. Please check social media or telephone the museum at (405) 377-5243 for more information.
