The Stillwater Arts Festival returns April 17–18, 2026, bringing a vibrant celebration of the visual arts to the Prairie Arts Center in the heart of Stillwater. This beloved community tradition showcases a diverse range of local and regional artists while highlighting the creativity that defines Stillwater’s cultural scene.

This year’s featured exhibition, Artist Telephone, offers a playful, collaborative exploration of how artists “talk” to one another through their work. Participating artists pass artworks forward to inspire the next creation, forming a dynamic visual chain that reflects the interconnected nature of the creative community.

Festival-goers can also enjoy special programming throughout the Stillwater Cultural District, with participating locations including the OSU Museum of Art, Block 34, Stonecloud Brewing, the Stillwater Public Library, and the Stillwater History Museum. Local food trucks will be on-site, and the Stillwater Farmers Market joins the festival on Saturday morning. Inside the Prairie Arts Center, guests of all ages can participate in free, hands-on artmaking activities.
