In fact, Stillwater is offering six different ways you can enjoy various forms of art.

On Friday and Saturday, the exhibit “24 Works on Paper” will be on display at the Gardiner Art Gallery. It features the work of living Oklahoma artists. All work is created on paper and uses techniques such as printmaking, photography, drawing, or painting.

The campus, on both those days, will also host the musical review “Jacques Brei is Alive & Well & Living in Paris” inside Vivia Locke Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Admission for the performance is $7.

There will also be a number of artistic activities taking place off campus as well. On Friday at 7:30 p.m., the Sheerar Museum will have its second Cool Classic Summer Concert. This week’s concert features the Appassionata Viola Harp Duo. The team will perform a unique blend of classical pop, and rock music.

There will be two more opportunities to see live music on Saturday night. At Countryside Baptist Church, there will be gospel performances from the Nix Family and New Revival Quartet starting at 6 p.m. Also, Zannotti’s will feature musician Jonathan Dorste at 8 p.m.

There are also plenty of opportunities for people to have fun outside as well. On Saturday and Sunday, Lakeside Golf Course will be hosting the Stillwater Men’s Four Ball Championship. Participants can still register for that event until 2 p.m. today.

On Saturday, there will also be a 4-M Farms Cowboy Classic Customer Appreciation Sale at the Payne County Expo Center. This sale will feature top quality Breeding and Show stock from some great producers & customers of the Cowboy Classic Production Sales

Relay for Life will sponsor a Family Fun Day from 3-8 p.m. on Sunday at White Barn. Entry to the event is $15.

Lastly, if you’re planning on attending one of the events taking place on Friday evening, your children can spend their evening at the WONDERtorium. The children’s museum will open its doors for some late night fun so parents can enjoy an evening to themselves. The cost per child is $15 per child for members and $20 per child for non-members.
