Today you can do that by helping feed needy children. All day at Panera Bread, $1 will be donated  with the purchase of any soup or lemonade (16 or 20 ounces) to the Stillwater Weekend Food Sacks for Children Program.

The Stillwater Weekend Food Sacks backpack program provides weekly backpack full of food to elementary school-age children at risk of going hungry over the weekend when federal or reduced-price meals are unavailable.

On Saturday, both the Stillwater Community Center, the Town and Gown Theatre, and Funnies Comedy Club have shows that are guaranteed to raise a smile.

The Missoula Children’s Theater will be putting on a local production of the Tortoise and the Hare featuring local youth from within the community. Performances start at 3:00 and 5:30 p.m.

Town and Gown will continue its production of Once Upon a Mattress on both Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. There will also be a matinee performance at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Funnies Comedy Club will host Mo Alexander for two shows Saturday night at 8:30 and 10:30 p.m. Alexander has appeared on ABC’s Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher, Comedy Central’s Laugh Riot, the BET staple Comic View and has even made an appearance in Poison’s Bret Michael’s film, Letters from Death Row.

This is also the second Saturday for Pawnee Bill’s Original Wild West Show at the Pawnee Bill’s Mansion and Museum. The mansion and museum opens at 11 a.m. A Deluxe Cowboy Nacho meal can be purchased starting at 5 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.
