It’s a busy week of activities in Stillwater this weekend—especially if you’re a kid.

There will be multiple daily activities taking place at the WONDERtorium over the next three days including the Early Childhood Summer Camps—Discover Insects. Those camps will be taking place twice daily on both Tuesday and Thursday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. There will also be a camp, Jiggling Air the Science of Music, on Wednesday at 2 p.m.

The library also has a variety of activities on tap for this week. Today, Monty Harper will perform three shows at 10 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.  The Teen Summer Reading program will also continue with Make Your Own Zombie Barbies event at 2 p.m. on Wednesday. The movie, Up, will also be shown at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.

On Thursday, there’s plenty of activities designed to let the adults have a little fun. Yoga will take place at the OSU Botanical Gardens at 6:45 a.m. The OSU Famer’s Market will also be taking place that morning in the Student Union Plaza from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

During the evening, the OSU Student Union will be hosting Summer on the Plaza. There, Andrew Paul will be performing at 7 p.m. and the movie 21 Jump Street will be shown at 9 p.m. The Stillwater Community Band Concert will also take place Thursday evening in the library courtyard at 7 p.m.

Don’t forget, you still have time to enter the 2012 Boomer Blast Detonator Contest. A $20 donation will enter you into the drawing to light this year’s fireworks, and the Stillwater CVB will match your donation and enter your name again. Your donation is tax deductible, and helps keep our great fireworks display going!
