(STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA / Feb. 6, 2019) – Summer travel to and from Stillwater just got even easier—American Airlines will kick off the summer travel season in May with three round trip flights six days a week from Stillwater Regional Airport (SWO).

The third round trip flight on most days will allow travelers even more options and flexibility to fly in and out of Stillwater starting May 3 and beyond.

American Airlines departures from SWO feature an early morning, mid-afternoon and evening flight times.

Arrivals to Stillwater include an afternoon, early evening and late evening take-off from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW).

Tickets for these flight times during the summer months are now available for purchase on American Airlines’ website.

Stillwater Regional Airport has offered at least two round trip flights a day to and from DFW since 2016. As American Airlines’ largest hub, DFWoffers fliers arriving from Stillwater Regional Airport connections to more than 800 flights to over 190 cities in 29 countries through the airline and its oneworld alliance partners.

Additionally, Stillwater Regional Airport offers all fliers free short- and long-term parking close to the airport terminal. Travelers also benefit from shorter security and baggage lines and a convenient location, reducing travel times and gas mileage for fliers in the north central Oklahoma region.

In July 2018, the airport surpassed 100,000 passengers aboard its American Airlines service, which began in August 2016.
