The course will be held on Monday, March 3, Thursday, March 6, Monday, March 10 and Thursday, March 13. The course will be held each night from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the City of Stillwater Community Center, 315 W. 8th Ave. The cost is $20 per person.

The R.A.D. defense class is a nationally certified course and is taught by certified instructors from the OSU Police Department.

It consists of 12 hours of:

  • Awareness
  • Prevention
  • Risk education
  • Avoidance
  • Hands-on-training

The R.A.D. course is a no-nonsense, practical self-defense course that teaches the participants to defend themselves using their body. This course also offers a lifetime return and practice policy, meaning participants can refresh their skills at any course offered throughout the United States and Canada for free.
