(STILLWATER, OKLA. / Feb. 28, 2014) –  Children in grades 1st-5th are invited to participate in a running club sponsored by City of Stillwater Parks and Recreation and the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Assistance Center. The club will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning March 4 at 4:30 p.m. at South Couch Park Pavilion #1 on 12th Ave.

The cost is $20 for the four-week program and includes a running club t-shirt. All sessions will be designed and led by certified strength and conditioning coaches from Oklahoma State University.

Parks and Recreation Supervisor Barbara Bliss said, “The club is open to children with all running abilities.The main focus will be to improve your running form and promote exercise while having fun.”

Register at the Parks and Recreation Administrative Office at 315 E. 9th Ave. in the Armory Recreation Center,  which is open Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
