(STILLWATER, Oklahoma / February 26, 2018) – The Red Dirt Film Festival, an international independent film industry festival that draws over 500 attendees to Stillwater, Okla., March 28-31, proudly presents the inaugural Outtakes Music Festival – a post-RDFF music showcase – March 30-31 at Eskimo Joe’s and George’s Stables, respectively.

Outtakes Music Festival picks up where last year’s successful No Coast Music Festival left off, offering RDFF attendees a hub for which to gather post-screening to help unwind, socialize, network, and enjoy some of Oklahoma’s premier musical talents.

Eskimo Joe’s, located at 507 W. Elm Avenue, hosts the official Outtakes showcase at 10 p.m. on Friday, March 30. Performers will include an array of psychedelic pop rockers, including Norman-based Helen Kelter Skelter, who just released their new album Melter, King Okie Band, the Psycho Deralikt Duo, and Kevin Snelson.

George’s Stables, located at 502 W. Elm Avenue, hosts the official Outtakes Showcase at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 31. Performers will include some of area’s most talented red dirt and Americana music acts, including Carter Sampson, who just released her highly anticipated album Lucky, as well as husband and wife folk-grass duo The Trapps, and singer/songwriters Ben McKenzie and Zac Wenzel.

“It’s a true sign of Red Dirt Film Festival’s growth and outreach how we’re able to expand into this musical foray once again,” said Outtakes Music Festival curator, Joe Mack. “Adding a second night will increase foot traffic and revenues for our host venues, and help show off Stillwater to hundreds of our attendees from around the world.”

While some Red Dirt Film Festival attendees will have access to VIP amenities, Outtakes Music Festival is free and open to the public, thanks in part to its sponsors: Red Dirt Film Festival, George’s Stables, Eskimo Joe’s, and The Oklahoma Arts Council.

RDFF Day Passes are only $10 and VIP Passes start at only $40, which allows access to VIP parties and special screenings. Tickets and more information can be found at reddirtfilm.com<http://reddirtfilm.com>.

The Red Dirt Film Festival is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
