(STILLWATER, Oklahoma / February 28, 2018) — The Oklahoma State track and field program released its 2018 schedule that features three trips to the Golden State and the NCAA Outdoor Championships scheduled for June 6-9, director of track and field and cross country Dave Smith announced Wednesday.

A week after completing the indoor season on March 10, OSU makes the short trip to the Tulsa Duels to open the outdoor year. At the same meet a year ago, the Pokes came away with six event wins and multiple top-five finishes.

The Stanford Invitational in Palo Alto, California, has been a highlight on the OSU schedule in past years and Smith’s squads return to the meet that produced NCAA qualifying marks from All-American Josh Thompson and school record holder Jacob Fincham-Dukes.

The trip is the first of three to California for the Pokes, as the team heads back to Palo Alto for the Cardinal Classic on April 20-21 and eventually the NCAA West Preliminary Round on May 24-26 in Sacramento, California.

The National Relay Championships and Arkansas Twilight wrap up the regular season before OSU’s conference showdown in Norman, Oklahoma on May 11-13.

Following the team’s regional stint in Sacramento, California, it will conclude the 2018 outdoor season at the NCAA Outdoor Championships June 6-9 in Track Town, USA — Eugene, Oregon.
