The Cowboys are ranked in the preseason poll for the fifth time since 2016.
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State is 17th in the preseason Associated Press poll that was announced Monday.
It marks the fifth time since 2016 that the Cowboys have started a season ranked in the AP Top 25 and continues a run of OSU being ranked in every season since 2008.
The Cowboys are the second-highest ranked Big 12 team in the opening poll of 2024 and are joined by conference members Utah (No. 12 ), Kansas State (No. 18), Arizona (No. 21) and Kansas (No. 22). Iowa State, West Virginia and Colorado also received votes in the poll.
