(STILLWATER, Oklahoma / August 24, 2018) – Oklahoma State’s men’s tennis team has announced its schedule for the 2018-2019 season. The slate for the upcoming season features eight fall tournaments and 19 spring dual matches.

The Cowboys finished 20-9 a year ago, posting an impressive 15-2 record at home. In the spring of 2019, the Cowboys will host 10 matches in Stillwater.

OSU will start the 2018 fall season in Napa and Claremont, Calif., at the Silverado Invitational and the USA Futures 24 tournament, respectively. The Pokes won the Silverado Invitational a year ago.

The Cowboys will participate in six more fall tournaments, culminating in Norman, Okla., where they will participate in the USA Futures 31 tournament from Nov. 9-18.

In the spring, the Cowboys will open with a doubleheader inside the Greenwood Tennis Center on Jan. 19, where they will take on Omaha at noon and Creighton at 5 p.m.

On Feb. 3, the Cowboys will take on defending national champion Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, N.C. The Cowboys faced the Demon Deacons in 2018, falling 4-0 inside the Greenwood Tennis Center.

Starting March 9, the Cowboys will begin a four-game homestand beginning with North Carolina State and ending with Oral Roberts on March 15.  

OSU will begin conference play when it travels to Lubbock to take on Texas Tech on April 5. The Pokes will then travel to Baylor on April 7 to take on the Bears. In 2018, OSU defeated Baylor 4-3 in Stillwater in what was the match of the year.  

The Cowboys conclude Big 12 play on April 14 in Stillwater where they will face TCU on senior day.

Postseason play will begin with the Big 12 Tournament, April 18-21, and NCAA Regionals commence on May 3 and last until May 5.

The NCAA Round of 16 is May 10-11, and the Finals are May 16-19.
