-65+ Oklahoma Songwriters perform across Three Venues in One Night -

WHO:  Sixty-nine Oklahoma songwriters will play acoustic sets, swapping songs and stories inspired by the godfather of Red Dirt, Bob Childers. Fans will be venue-hopping to catch returning favorites like Cody Canada, Stoney LaRue, John Fullbright, Mike Hosty and Gabe Marshall and Bryon White of The Damn Quails, to name a few.  New to the festival this year are Read Southall, a young Altus-native who packs in crowds at venues like the Tumbleweed, and female standouts Sophia & Grace Babb of Annie Oakley and rising talent, Maggie McClure.

WHAT: This night of musical surprises, presented by Skyy Vodka and Sailor Jerry Rum, showcases Oklahoma’s best songwriting talent, culminating with an all-artist finale on the main stage at Eskimo Joe’s.  The fest will also include a silent auction and merchant area on Elm St. where the street will be closed between Eskimo Joe’s and George’s Stables.

All proceeds benefit the Red Dirt Relief Fund, a non-profit organization that provides a safety net of critical assistance to Oklahoma music people. Operated by an all-volunteer Board, RDRF has granted over $38,000 to musicians in the state since 2012.
