(STILLWATER, Oklahoma / August 19, 2019) - Eskimo Joe’s and the Oklahoma State University Alumni Association are teaming up to host a huge outdoor, free event that includes a concert and watch party on Friday, August 30. The event will be in the lot just north of Eskimo Joe’s and will feature music, inflatables, outdoor food and drink, plus guest appearances by Eskimo Joe and Buffy, Pistol Pete and the OSU Spirit Squad. The evening caps off with a live broadcast of the OSU vs Oregon State football game, the Pokes’ first football game of the season. 

“Eskimo Joe’s is a watch party staple for OSU alumni and Cowboy fans,” said Blaire Atkinson, OSU Alumni Association president. “We’re excited to partner with Joe’s to offer alumni and students an exciting evening with live music, giveaways and the Cowboys’ season opener. If you can’t make the trip to Oregon, this watch party will be the next best thing.” 

The venue opens at 6 p.m. The Val Gladden Band will play at 7 p.m. with other festivities on-going until game time. People are encouraged to bring their own chairs to the event although some seating will be provided. 

A live broadcast of the Oklahoma Sate versus Oregon State game will air at 9:30 p.m. on a giant video wall. “We’re delighted to host this event for the Oklahoma State University Alumni Association,” said Stan Clark, CEO and founder of Eskimo Joe’s. “We are proud OSU supporters and huge Cowboy Football fans. I can’t imagine a more fun way to kick-off this football season.”
