• Oklahoma State's women's basketball team will get its 2024-25 campaign underway on Oct. 29 when Southern Nazarene comes to town for a 6:30 p.m. exhibition contest.
• SNU is one of eight different in-state schools the Cowgirls have hosted for exhibition play. The list of opponents includes Central Oklahoma, East Central, Northeastern State, Oklahoma Christian, Panhandle State, Southeastern Oklahoma State, Southern Nazarene and Southwestern Oklahoma State.
• This will be OSU's second consecutive and seventh overall exhibition contest played in October.
• The contest will mark OSU's lone exhibition tilt of the season. The Cowgirls last hosted SNU on Nov. 4, 2021, a 64-40 OSU victory.
• The contest precedes the start of the regular season, which will get underway on Nov. 4 against Arkansas-Pine Bluff. That game will signal the start of a six-game homestand to tip off OSU's third season under the direction of head coach Jacie Hoyt.
• OSU scored 100 points in last year's exhibition opener, marking the first time it had reached the century mark in exhibition play since 2017 against East Central.
• The Cowgirls will be looking to log consecutive 100-point outings in exhibition play since a three-game run from 2007-2008.

OSU In Exhibition Play
• After a 101-50 win over Oklahoma Christian last November, the Cowgirls have won 27 consecutive exhibition contests.
• The Cowgirls' last exhibition loss came on Nov. 14, 2003 against Northwest Sports.
• Since 2002, OSU sports a 30-1 record in exhibition play.
• OSU head coach Jacie Hoyt went 4-1 in exhibition contests while leading the Kansas City program before winning her first two exhibition tilts with the Cowgirl program.

Last Time Out In Exhibition Play
• The Cowgirls used a 21-0 run during the opening quarter to take a commanding lead over Oklahoma Christian.
• OSU shot 54.4 percent from the field, including a 15-37 (40.5 percent) clip from beyond the arc. They also forced the Lady Eagles into 32 turnovers, scoring 35 points off them.
• Anna Gret Asi poured in 27 points, while Stailee Heard scored 26 in her OSU debut.

• Southern Nazarene went 30-3 overall and 21-1 in Great American Conference action a year ago.
• SNU reached the Central Region title game where it fell to Minnesota State Mankato.
