STILLWATER – Oklahoma State women’s golf is set to host its annual Cowgirl Pro-Am on April 26 at Stillwater Country Club.
Teams will consist of four amateurs and one pro or current Cowgirl or Cowboy in a scramble format.
The event will begin at 10:30 a.m. when breakfast is served and the driving range opens for pro-am teams. Registration is then open from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., with a shotgun start shortly after at 1 p.m. Following play, the event will end with a cocktail buffet and awards from 6-7 p.m.
“On behalf of Cowgirl Golf, I would like to invite you to the 2024 Cowgirl Pro-Am, scheduled for April 26 at Stillwater Country Club,” head coach Greg Robertson said.
“As the landscape of college athletics continues to change, fundraising will become even more critical to our program. The money raised in past Cowgirl Pro-Ams has allowed us to stay ahead of the curve in recruiting and separate ourselves from the competition. We can provide our players with benefits that most teams aren’t able to do. This includes paying for travel to and from home, covering expenses for summer tournaments and NIL money. As these expenses continue to increase, we need your support more than ever.
“This is a great opportunity for you to help us build on the success from the past three years, which includes two Big 12 Championships, NCAA Runner-up finish, five All-American selections, three Conference Player of the Year selections, Conference Freshman of the Year, NCAA Regional individual champion, two Big 12 individual champions, 12 team titles and 16 individual wins.
“The team also continued to succeed in the classroom. They currently have a 3.62 cumulative team GPA, with two players having earned a perfect 4.0 in the fall.
“We are very fortunate to have the best supporters in women’s collegiate golf. You are a big part of our team, and we thank you for all that you do. Hope to see you at Stillwater Country Club at the end of April. Go Pokes!”
The Cowgirl Pro-Am brochure will be released approximately eight weeks prior to the event, in which supporters can register to enter in the event.
