STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State softball team earned exhibition wins against Central Arkansas and West Texas A&M on Sunday afternoon at Cowgirl Stadium.
The Cowgirls claimed victory over UCA, 15-3, and bested West Texas A&M by a score of 11-8.

The Bears were first to score, but the Cowgirls bounced right back courtesy of a Kiley Naomi two-run home run to give OSU a 2-1 lead.
The Cowgirls’ lead only grew from there as Oklahoma State added onto their lead in the sixth with a pair of RBI singles from Rachel Becker and Katelynn Carwile.
Tallen Edwards notched her second home run of fall exhibition play, a three-run jack, to cap a five-run seventh inning, which put the Cowgirls up 9-1. Oklahoma State piled on another six runs in the eighth.

Against West Texas A&M, Ivy Rosenberry got the start. The Lady Buffs jumped out to an early 1-0 lead, but Morgyn Wynne responded with a three-run blast to put the Cowgirls back in front at the end of the first, 3-1.
The Cowgirls pieced together runs in the third and sixth innings, but the Lady Buffs kept the contest close throughout.
OSU capitalized on three West Texas A&M errors in the ninth to bring four runs across. Wynne smashed her second homer of the game to straightaway center, capping a six-run ninth inning.
The Lady Buffs added two runs in the tenth, but Aycock and the Cowgirls defense kept West Texas A&M from closing the gap any further, ending the game with a win, 11-8.
