Rachel Becker’s first home run as a Cowgirl – a ninth-inning two-run blast – lifted the Pokes to a 3-1 win over the Golden Hurricane on Wednesday night in Tulsa.
On its Big 12 bye week, OSU traveled to Incarnate Word and swept UIW in a doubleheader and outscored the Cardinals 21-0. The Cowgirls’ first of two wins in San Antonio marked head coach Kenny Gajewski’s 300th career win as the head coach of the Oklahoma State program.
The Cowgirls kick off a Kansas road trip with a midweek contest against No. 22/25 Wichita State at 6 p.m. CT on Tuesday. OSU resumes Big 12 play against the Kansas Jayhawks from April 6-8 in Lawrence. Each of the Cowgirls’ week eight games can be streamed on ESPN+ and heard on The Varsity Network.
