STILLWATER – After a third-consecutive weekend tournament sweep, Oklahoma State softball remains in the top three of both national polls, ranked No. 3 in the USA Today/NFCA Coaches Poll and ranked No. 3 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25.

 

Extending its win streak to 16 games over the weekend, OSU solidified its national position with wins over No. 23/24 Missouri, Tarleton State and Maine, as well as a pair of wins over South Dakota State.

Lexi Kilfoyl's no-hitter versus Maine on March 4 – the third solo no-hit performance of her career – was the highlight of the weekend. The Cowgirls outscored their opponents 36-5 and collected a pair of run-rule victories during the five-game stretch.

 

On offense, Micaela Wark led the way with a 9-for-13 (.692) batting average with nine RBI and three stolen bases.

 

The Pokes' current win streak is the longest since head coach Kenny Gajewski's first season in 2016. During the 16-game stretch, the Cowgirls have tallied five victories over ranked opponents, seven shutouts, nine run-rule wins and outscored its opponents 143-30.

 

OSU welcomes No. 5/6 Florida State to Stillwater this weekend for a top-10 showdown. First pitch for Friday, March 10 is set for 6 p.m. CT; each contest of the three-game series can be streamed on ESPN+ and heard on The Varsity Network.
