STILLWATER – Oklahoma State looks for a return to the NCAA Championship in 2025, and the Cowgirls’ schedule will provide opportunities to build a strong resume.

Of OSU’s 19 opponents in 2025, 10 of those finished in the top 70 of the NCAA RPI in 2024, and six of those teams made the NCAA Championship.

The Cowgirls are coming off a 14-5-3 season in which they finished fifth in the Big 12 standings at 6-3-2; the 14 wins was the program’s most since 2019. OSU earned the 14th NCAA Championship berth in its history and its first since 2020.

Led by All-Big 12 performers Gracie Bindbeutel, Xcaret Pineda and Laudan Wilson, head coach Colin Carmichael’s squad will return seven starters and six other letterwinners who played in at least 11 matches last season.

A preseason exhibition match at Tulsa kicks off the ’25 schedule, and OSU will host Mercer in the regular season opener on Aug. 14 at Neal Patterson Stadium.

The Cowgirls will travel to Norman to take on Bedlam-rival Oklahoma on Aug. 17. Other non-conference road tests include Rice, Oral Roberts and East Texas A&M, while OSU will host Nebraska, Arkansas State and Mississippi State.

OSU opens Big 12 Conference play at home against Kansas on Sept. 18. During a three-game stretch in October, the Cowgirls will host BYU, Kansas State and UCF, and Baylor will come to Stillwater for the regular season finale on Oct. 30.

The Cowgirls’ road opponents in conference play include Arizona State, Arizona, Texas Tech, TCU, Cincinnati and West Virginia.

The conference’s top eight teams will qualify for the Big 12 Championship, which will be held Nov. 3-8. The tournament quarterfinals and semifinals will be hosted by TCU and held at Garvey-Rosenthal Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas, with the tourney’s title game being played on Baylor’s home field, Betty Lou Mays Field, in Waco, Texas.

The NCAA Women’s Soccer Championship begins Nov. 14 and concludes with the NCAA College Cup in Kansas City Dec. 5-8.
