STILLWATER – Oklahoma State will play 11 home matches, five of those in Big 12 Conference play, during the 2023 season.

Also appearing on the Cowgirls’ schedule for the upcoming season are three of the four new members of the Big 12 as OSU will take on UCF, Cincinnati and BYU in ’23.

Of OSU’s 19 opponents in 2023, 13 of those finished in the top 150 of the RPI in 2022, including nine in the top 100.

OSU is coming off an 11-4-4 season in 2022, and the Cowgirls return five starters return from that squad while welcoming recruiting and transfer classes that add over 10 new faces to the roster.

“We’re excited about competing in the 2023 season – our schedule is challenging, and we have some very exciting matches both at home and on the road,” said OSU head coach Colin Carmichael. “We are really looking forward to the competition in the new look Big 12. Our conference slate is loaded with top-ranked opponents and programs consistently rated among the top teams in the nation.”

The Cowgirls open 2023 with a preseason exhibition match at home against Missouri on Aug. 12 before kicking off the regular season by hosting Stephen F. Austin on Aug. 17.

Among OSU’s top non-conference matches are a home test against Florida Atlantic (Aug. 24) and road tests at Texas State (Aug. 31) and SMU (Sept. 10).

The Cowgirls open Big 12 play on the road, taking on Iowa State on Sept. 22. OSU will also travel to TCU (Oct. 1), Cincinnati (Oct. 5), West Virginia (Oct. 8) and Texas Tech (Oct. 15) in league play.

In conference home action, OSU will play host to Kansas (Sept. 21), Kansas State (Sept. 24), UCF (Sept. 28), BYU (Oct. 12) and Oklahoma, with the Cowgirls hosting the Sooners in the regular season finale on Oct. 23.
