STILLWATER – Oklahoma State remained No. 4 in Tuesday’s NCEA rankings.
This is the third straight week the Cowgirls have been ranked fourth after falling from the top spot.
The Cowgirls are coming off a dominant win over Big 12 foe and then No. 8 Baylor, beating the Bears 17-3 last Saturday at Pedigo-Hull Equestrian Center in Stillwater.
The victory improved OSU to 1-1 on the season and the 14-point win was the largest margin over a conference opponent in program history.
Other Big 12 teams in the rankings include TCU and Baylor, ranked No. 1 and No. 10 respectively.
The Cowgirls next opponent will be the top-ranked Horned Frogs in Fort Worth on Oct. 28. OSU went 2-1 against TCU last season, including winning the final meeting between the teams, 13-6, in the NCEA semifinal.
