STILLWATER – Oklahoma State checked in at No. 5 in Tuesday’s NCEA rankings, marking its third consecutive week in that position.

 

OSU finished the regular season with a 6-4 record, going 4-2 in Big 12 play. Among the six wins, five came against ranked opponents while Oklahoma State went 4-1 at home.

 

The Cowgirls routed top-ranked single discipline team the University of Lynchburg, 9-0, Saturday in their regular-season finale. Sophomore Riley Hogan was named MOP in both Fences and Flat, doing so for the first time in her career.

 

OSU will be off this weekend as it prepares to defend its Big 12 Championship in Stillwater March 24th-25th. The Cowgirls will be the two-seed entering the tournament, taking on Baylor in the first round.

 

All three of the other Big 12 schools made appearances in the final ranked of the regular season, with TCU ranked third, Fresno State eighth and Baylor ninth.

 

After the Big 12 Championship, the Cowgirls will conclude their season in Ocala, Florida, as they attempt to defend their NCEA National Championship April 13th-15th.
