STILLWATER – Oklahoma State is up to No. 2 in this week's NCEA rankings.
The Cowgirls improved two spots from No. 4, where they sat for three weeks after falling from the top spot.
The Cowgirls are coming off a dominant win over Big 12 foe and eighth-ranked Baylor, beating the Bears 17-3 on Oct. 15 at Pedigo-Hull Equestrian Center in Stillwater.
The victory improved OSU to 1-1 on the season, and the 14-point win was the largest margin over a conference opponent in program history.
Other Big 12 teams in this week's rankings include TCU and Baylor, ranked No. 3 and No. 8 respectively.
The Cowgirls' next opponent will be the third-ranked Horned Frogs in Fort Worth on Friday. OSU went 2-1 against TCU last season, including winning the final meeting between the teams, 13-6, in an NCEA Championship semifinal.
