(STILLWATER, Oklahoma / July 2, 2019) – Oklahoma State’s women’s basketball team will navigate a formidable non-conference schedule in 2019 which features nine teams that reached the postseason a year ago.

OSU head coach Jim Littell’s squad will play 12 non-league games, seven of which will take place in Stillwater. Of those opponents, nine won at least 20 games a year ago and seven won or shared their respective league regular-season titles.

On October 27, the Cowgirls will host Emporia State in exhibition action before tipping off the regular season on Nov. 5 against Idaho, which finished 22-12 a year ago and reached the third round of the WNIT.

Coming off a 24-7 campaign and a WNIT berth, Lamar will pay a visit to Stillwater on Nov. 8 before the Cowgirls renew their in-state rivalry with a road game at Tulsa on Nov. 13.

Idaho State, which finished with a 20-11 record and reached the WNIT a year ago, will pay a visit to Stillwater on Nov. 19 before Rice closes the two-game homestand for OSU on Nov. 23. The Owls went 28-4 and earned an NCAA berth last season.

The Cowgirls will head to the U.S. Virgin Islands for the three-game Paradise Jam to close out November. OSU will open with NCAA Final Four participant Oregon on Nov. 28 before taking on Louisville, which reached the NCAA Elite Eight last season, on Nov. 29. Both teams constructed 30-win campaigns.

A Nov. 30 contest against UT Arlington, owner of a 24-8 record and WNIT berth last season, will close out the tournament.

As part of the Big 12/SEC Challenge, the Cowgirls will travel to Texas A&M on Dec. 7 to face an Aggie squad that won 26 games and reached the NCAA Sweet 16 in 2019.

On Dec. 17, OSU will return home to begin a three-game homestand which will begin with NCAA participant Southern, which won 20 games on the year.

A Dec. 20 contest against Oral Roberts and a Dec. 30 matchup with Duquesne will round out OSU’s non-conference schedule.
