STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State football team moved up one spot to No. 16 and No. 17 in the AP Top 25 and AFCA Coaches Poll, respectively.

The Cowboys are one of five Big 12 teams included in this week’s polls, as Utah leads the way at No. 11 in both. Not far behind was Kansas State (17/16), Kansas (19/20) and Arizona (20/18), in addition to Iowa State receiving votes in each poll. West Virginia and Colorado also registered votes for the AP Top 25.

After receiving a spot in the preseason AP Top 25 for the fifth time since 2016, Oklahoma State handled reigning FCS champion South Dakota State, 44-20, in the season opener on Saturday.

Oklahoma State faces Arkansas this Saturday at Boone Pickens Stadium, with kickoff set for 11 a.m. on ABC. The Razorbacks received two votes by this week’s AP voters.
