(STILLWATER, Oklahoma / Oct. 31, 2017) – The Oklahoma State football team checked in at No. 11 in the first edition of the 2017 College Football Playoff Rankings, which were released Tuesday evening.

Following the release of Tuesday's poll, OSU is one of only five teams that has been included in every set of CFP rankings since the beginning of 2015. The four other schools are Alabama, Clemson, Michigan and Ohio State.

Having won 15 of its last 17 games overall, Oklahoma State will face fifth-ranked Oklahoma in a top-15 Bedlam matchup that will once again feature high stakes in the race for the Big 12 title. The Bedlam game has served as the de facto Big 12 Championship game in each of the past two seasons, while this year's edition will see the winner remain atop the Big 12 standings heading into the season's final stretch.

Earlier this week, the Cowboys were ranked No. 10 by the Associated Press while coming in at No. 11 in the USA Today Amway Coaches Poll.

Aside from Oklahoma State and Oklahoma, TCU checked in at No. 8 in this week's rankings, while Iowa State sits at No. 15. The Big 12 is the only conference with four teams ranked in the top 15 in this week's College Football Playoff Rankings.

The Cowboys and Sooners are set to clash Saturday afternoon at Boone Pickens Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Fox Sports 1.
