STILLWATER, Okla. ---- Oklahoma State men’s basketball was selected to the National Invitational Tournament (NIT) for the 13th time in program history, it was announced Sunday night. The Cowboys were named a No. 1 seed in the NIT and will face Youngstown State.

 

Tip from Beeghly Center in Youngstown is set for 6 PM CT Wednesday on ESPN+.

 

2023 will mark Oklahoma State’s first appearance in the NIT since 2018 when the Cowboys went 2-1 with wins over Florida Gulf Coast and Stanford before falling to Western Kentucky.

 

OSU is 9-13 all-time in the postseason tournament. The Cowboys first made an appearance in 1938, splitting a pair of games thanks to a win over Temple and New York.
