STILLWATER - Oklahoma State’s men’s tennis team will open the 2021 spring season Thursday, Jan. 14 against the Wichita State Shockers before battling it out against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane on Jan. 15.

The Cowboys have six players returning from last year, including two seniors Dominik Kellovsky and Mathieu Scaglia who used their extra year of availability due to the pandemic. The Cowboys have two new additions for the year, transfer Henrik Korsgaard from Virginia Tech and freshman Matisse Bobichon. 

As of Wednesday, the doubles duo of Matej Vocel and Dominik Kellovsky landed themselves third in the doubles Oracle ITA preseason Top 60. 

The last meeting between the Cowboys and the Shockers was in 2017 where OSU took the match, 4-0. Overall, head coach Jay Udwadia is 4-0 against Wichita State. OSU all-time record against Wichita State is 43-15. 

Against the Golden Hurricane, the Cowboys lead with an overall record of 37-17. In 2019, Tulsa took the match over the Cowboys, 4-3.
