The Basics
Oklahoma State's men's tennis team will close the regular season with a pair of home matches against Wichita State and No. 17 UCF. The Cowboys face the Shockers on April 9 at 5 p.m. at the Greenwood Tennis Center before taking on the Knights on April 11 at noon for Senior Day. Oklahoma State has won 13-straight matches against the Shockers and holds a 40-17 record all time. The Cowboys meet up with UCF for the second time this season after being swept by the Knights at the ITA Kickoff Weekend in January. In that match, Oklahoma State dropped the doubles point despite Isaac Becroft and Alessio Basile winning on court one. Becroft, Derek Pham and Matei Onofrei left their matches unfinished with Becroft and Onofrei leading. Last season, OSU dropped the opening match against the Knights, 4-3, then defeated them, 4-3, in the second meeting.
