STILLWATER – Celebrating the 2021-22 accomplishments of its student-athletes and teams, Oklahoma State Athletics hosted the Cowboy Choice Awards at the McKnight Center for the Performing Arts Saturday. 

NCAA champion Taylor Roe and the world’s No. 1-ranked amateur golfer Eugenio Chacarra took home the night’s top honors, as they were honored as the Cowgirl and Cowboy Athlete of the Year, respectively. 

Winners of the first women’s team national championship in OSU history, the equestrian program was recognized as the Cowgirl Team of the Year, while the Fiesta Bowl champion football squad was honored as the Cowboy Team of the Year.

Cecil and Frances O’Brate were the recipients of the T. Boone Pickens Difference Maker Award for their generosity in building the nation’s finest college baseball stadium.
