STILLWATER, Okla. — As part of Oklahoma State’s Orange and Black Gives Back community outreach program, Cowboy baseball will be hosting a “Strike Out Hunger” event for its Tuesday night game against Wichita State at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium.
All OSU students who bring a canned food item to donate will be admitted free to Tuesday’s game against the Shockers. All donated items will be given to the local Salvation Army.
“Throughout the first year of our Orange And Black Gives Back campaign, we have seen our student-athletes impact the community in incredible ways,” said OSU Assistant Director of Marketing and Promotions Alex Maun. “We see this promotion as yet another opportunity for us to give back, in addition to continuing the growth of the program.”
